GEORGE II Halfpenny 1735 Triple Exergue & large date
HomeGEORGE II Halfpenny 1735 Triple Exergue & large date
Reverse 1 with triple exergue.
Triple exergue on closer inspection.
1735 Large date which is the most common then medium then small date, its claimed the smaller date is the easier to find but ive seen very few and to be honest its more a farthing size date as its very tiny indeed.
I think there’s more chance of seeing a single exergue than a triple, exergue lines can often get over looked whilst checking. This halfpenny grades nearly extremely fine with weak striking areas as often.
