VICTORIA Farthing 1850 5 over 7 in date.

This die must have just gone into service as the error is very clear and not blundered or blurred from repeated strikes. Quite a rare coin in higher grades and very desirable with a clear error. Farthing grades good extremely fine with some marks.

Just a post thought, why has nobody ever mention all the obverse letters except the last A in GRATIA are hammered in tiny dots. Its as if they were meant for a proof or a similar type of strike because they appear jeweled, or frosted.
